OCCUPATION: Largely a temporary worker, enjoys jobs that allow her to work part of the year and then leave again.
PERSONALITY:
A short and sweet rundown for now.
- Standoffish at first, tends to warm up to people inadvertently over time. She does soften up for kinder people but even with them she tries to maintain some boundaries.
- More than a little bitter about pack structures. After her parents' deaths her uncle begrudgingly took her into his pack where there was no love left to spare for her.
- Always friendly to kids. Has a big soft spot for them.
- Closed off mostly to protect herself.
- Not used to the concept of family or close friends. Often drives others away because of it.
- Has a hard time accepting help and showing vulnerability altogether.
- In wolf form she's far more likely to attack first and ask questions later.
- In fact she's very willing to fight you. She gives over to her wolf half fairly easily, save when it comes to the people she cares about. Those are few and far between though.
- In general Helena's willingness to fight is more due to her being good at it than loving to fight. It's what she considers herself good at and so unwittingly to earn other's acceptance that she claims to not want she'll put herself to use the best way she knows how.
- More than a little hotheaded. She's used to having to stick up for herself and she will do so viciously if need be.
- In general she feels all of her emotions very intensely. After a childhood spent biting her own tongue she's not very good at tamping down her emotions now if she actually cares.
ABILITIES & HISTORY:
Helena was still a young child when both of her parents died under circumstances that were never explained to her. She has only ever known her parents through a handful of photographs and foggy memories.
She was taken in by her uncle (father's brother) and his pack but said pack was fraught with tension and in-fighting. There was little love to go around for those born to the pack and certainly none for an orphan brought in through obligation.
At eighteen Helena voluntarily left and has been wandering since.
+ SHIFTING: Lena is a wolf shifter and can assume a wolf form at will. This does involve leaving her clothing behind however and when she shifts back into a human form she'll be nude.
+ SMELL / HEARING: Her sense of smell and hearing are always more keen both in and out of her wolf form. She does get a boost to both as a wolf and these senses can sharpen when her wolf is closer to the surface.
+ SIGHT: At times when the wolf in her is right at the surface her eyes might change from their usual dark green to a more golden color.

AURAL: Mid-range, more alto than soprano in tone. Has virtually no accent save some small bit of a southern one leaking through when she's upset.
DEMEANOUR: Aloof and mysterious. It takes a good bit of wheedling to get much about her past out of Helena.
OLFACTORY: To humans Helena will mostly smell of very little. With her sensitive nose she doesn't like indulging in perfumes or very many products with heavy scents to them.
To other shifters or supernatural creatures in general she smells ... like a wolf. Others may note there aren't any scents layered with her own -- nothing of a mate, of children or even a pack.
VISUAL:
Her human PB is Bridget Regan in her role from The Last Seeker. Helena stands 5'7" in her human form with deep green eyes and dark hair that reaches somewhere around mid-back length.
In wolf form she can choose toe shift into a form near the size of a normal wolf or one that is around 5' at the shoulder and 8' long. Generally she prefers the latter for hunting and the former for camouflage / hiding. If she's not thinking before she shifts she'll inevitably be in her larger form.
